About
Paule Perron is a practicing architect and researcher based between Geneva and France. Her work operates at the intersection of writing, drawing, and building, interrogating the perpetuation of power structures embedded in the built environment, with a particular focus on body politics and gender studies. Her built projects emphasize minor interventions to create architectural narratives, carefully embedded within diverse contexts and scales, from objects to buildings. After graduating from ENSA Paris-Malaquais, she spent several years collaborating with architectural firms in Paris. She then worked as a teaching assistant at HEAD – Genève, where she became a lecturer, teaching Theory of Interior Architecture to both Bachelor’s and Master’s students. She is the co-founder of minor architects, a collective that seeks to question the impact of architectural practice on the “landscape of our constructed mistakes” (Haraway, 2016). She is also a member of Public Affairs, a curatorial practice examining the public role of space in the construction of sexualized and gendered subjects. She is registered with the Tableau de l’Ordre des Architectes Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes under number 092568.
